We had unique variations of popular food...like the Turkey Reuben (Rachel) with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. And one of their marvelous salads. Portions are plentiful. Of course, sitting on the patio near the lavender fields—even post-harvest—is still wonderful ambience to enjoy fresh food.

This shop, which deals with all things lavender, is a nice stop while touring the island and a stop for the trolley tours as well. Although their lavender plants are still juvenile, in a couple years they will be magnificent. Worth a quick stop.

There are several lavender farms on the island. This one has beautiful grounds and buildings. The lavender wasn't in full bloom while we toured but other flowering plants made the place look stunning. Anything lavender can be found!

Sorry to have missed your question! The answer above was correct. We typically begin harvesting the first of August and complete harvest and distillation by the first of September.
