Such a peaceful and beautiful stop. The craftsmanship of the building is amazing. The prayer path is very nice and worth the time to walk and read the verses.

This was a stop on the tour we took. Very interesting to learn about the history behind this church. Beautiful and the surroundings are very peaceful. One of my favorite stops out of 5!

If you're in Door County... And especially if you go to Washington Island... This is a must-see. Very unique Church small but definitely worth the stop. Don't really know why they have a viking slash Norwegian replica Church in Wisconsin but it was interesting. Built...More

It is a hidden gem, and we didn't see it from the road. It was a striking, and beautiful place of worship. The structure was well built. Inside, it is solemn, and peaceful. This was a surprisingly pleasant work of art.

Yes, Wednesday evenings I believe. I bet if you contacted the church affiliated with Stavkirke (it’s right across the street) they’d have a schedule.
