This local county park is very popular for dog walkers, dog park located in the park. The horse back riders, runners, bicyclists love the trails. In the winter it's great for sledding, the summer for swimming.

Trails for hiking , biking and horse back riding. Trails wind through forests and meadows, makes you think that you are far from cities, yet the Park is just outside Waukesha. The trails are groomed for skiing in the winter. Two fenced in dog areas

We have been going to Minooka Park for 25 years. They have lake with life guards, and for fishing on other side. Sledding hill, snowmobile and cross country tracks thru the woods, also hiking paths and many picnic areas, and very importantly, an excellent dog park. One for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Excellent. Don't miss it.

I come here often to run the trails, xc ski groomed trails in the winter (when it snows), mountain bike the designated bike trails, or just take a walk. There is a dog park, a swimming pond, sand volleyball, and at least 5 reservable pavilions. Like all the Waukesha parks there is a fee to enter, or just buy the... More

I have driven by the east side of this park on my way to and from work for the past year and never realized it was there...until I joined my daughter on her daily trip to the Minooka dog park. The dog park is huge, with lots of room for socialized dogs to run and play. I had no idea... More

The dog park is awesome, unfortunately there is usually someone there not paying attention to their dog, but it is manageable. The grounds are incredible, the place is very well kept and a wonderful park that we should all enjoy.

Minooka Park is beautiful and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the dog park and our dog thoroughly enjoyed running around with the many other dogs that were there. We plan on buying a season pass or this next year.

Minooka Park is a great place close to the city of Waukesha to spend some time outdoors and take a break. The hiking trails are well marked, not too steep, but still with a diversity of trees and flowers, and occasional wildlife. There are also great picnic area and playgrounds for families and the kids. Minooka also has a great... More

Minooka is a great place to go with the pooches, or the kids! Lots of room to fly a kit, go swimming, or hike some trails.

A Waukesha County Park, that is in an area that is becoming surrounded by housing developments, hence it is an oasis to escape to. It does not have camping, but has several reservable picnic/shelter areas. It has hiking/cross country skiing in season, although the trail marking is not the best (missing signs, or lack thereof). It has outdoor archery area,... More
