We visited the winery the day after Thanksgiving. It is a little bit out of W.Dells (6-7 miles north?). The tasting was enjoyable. I am sure it would be even more fun if the weather were warmer to sit outside. We bought 2 bottles to...More

In the sauk county area, we are fortunate enough to have multiple wineries. but fawn creek is the best! Their location is beautiful, their wines are amazing & for anyone (even non wine drinkers will find something!!). And i love trying their seasonal wines.
Unlike many other wineries, this one not only sells wine but offers an experience. While most wineries these days have tastings and such, few have such a beautiful location. Surrounded by pines, even parking lot is rustic - there are some unpaved lots, but also...More

My 12 & 14 year old niece and nephew were bored and didn't care for the type of music being played. But, if you bring the electronics and park them outside on a bench, they'll be fine. The tasting room/gift shop was crowded and not a place for small children...no room for strollers and far too many breakable items. There was a disc golf area close by which might appeal to older kids.
