Impressive collection of well-displayed & labelled taxidermy (stuffed) animals & birds, mostly from Wyoming, plus some from Alaska and Africa. Interesting, child-friendly & free ;-)

In spite of the small size, I have honestly never seen so many animals in such a small place. Wow, totally worth the visit.

We have always visited this museum as part of the Passport to Adventure Summer Program, where the kids eagerly searched for the answer to the assigned question, but spent plenty of time exploring the different exhibits and reading about all the wildlife.

then this is a great museum. There is so much more than regional wildlife on display - there are exotic animals as well. So much to look at, and the front desk staff can give you a "scavenger hunt" type activity to get even more...More
