Although off-season, the fort rooms are closed, we were free to roam about, peer in windows, read the panel explanations around the fort. And inside, the museum was very informative, interesting and worthy of spending your time learning, touching, and contemplating. Well done exhibits.

The exhibits take you through time, from beginning, to present in Casper, Wyoming. From fur trade, to oil, and everything in between.

I was very surprised by the facility at Fort Casper. They had a very nice room for a memorial service that included projector set up, tables and chairs. The staff was very helpfil and accommodating and provided everything we needed. Everyone also enjoyed the historical displays.

This is a very well preserved example of old west forts. The grounds are nice and there is informative signs throughout the grounds. It gives you a glimpse of the hard life that soldiers endured in these remote forts.

Great piece of American history. Nice reconstruction of barracks and living quarters of soldiers during the Indian Wars. Visitor centre has good display of local interest. Well worth the price of admission.

Does not take a long time & it is laid out nicely. I enjoyed the easy walk around the grounds & learned more about the brave pioneers & soldiers.

Movies always show Western Forts with walls, but many did not. Fort Caspar was a small collection of log cabins. The original fort is long gone, so what you see to today is a replica built in the 1930's.

Our group had youngsters as young as two and four and our grandfather in his 70's. All participants enjoyed the indoor and outdoors displays. There were some interactive displays where you could hear morse code or see what movies were made in Wyoming. I enjoyed the gift shop and bought two toys for my nephews. There were a few other...
