A little slice of heaven
Jun 2019 • Couples
We stopped for a little breakfast picnic (coffee and a Danish) and took the time to enjoy this little slice of heaven.

A little bit of everything - but no goats
Sep 2017 • Friends
We were just looking for a place to go for a 45 minute jog while visiting Cheyenne and happened upon Mylar Park. The park is very well maintained and has a little bit of everything. There is a really nice frisbee-golf course which was being well used while we were there. There is a nice little playground for the little ones and nice little picnic areas for, well, people who want to have a picnic. Convenient for us was the decent bathrooms which we needed before heading out on the run.

Lots of people had their dogs too - but there were no goats to be seen.

The run itself didn't take place in the park which is actually rather small. However, the Dry Creek Greenway goes right through the park so we did a loop on that.

Nice small park on greenway
Jun 2017 • Friends
This is one of the smaller parks in Cheyenne, but it's nice since you can walk to it using the greenway. There are restrooms, small covered picnic area, small playground and pond. There is also discus golf and a hill if you want a little challenge. There is some statues and a very cool sun dial/calendar!

Nice place for a leisurely stroll
Jun 2017 • Couples
Went here because people (ages ago) said there were heaps of goats, but we didn't see any. Still, it was a nice little park to stroll around in, see the ducks, enjoy nature. Easy to get to, not too big (can stroll around in 10-15 minutes) and has toilet facilities and water fountains. There's also a playground.

Nice park area for families. There is a small pond near to which not only the ducks but the geese like to hang out there as well. There is a swing set, picnic area and restrooms. And in the summer time looked for the goats feeding in the large pasture area!

Nice park

This is a neighborhood park. It offers a playground, an open grassy area, a small lake and creekside walk/bike path. There is also a large covered picnic area with grills.

Lovely park with Greenway
Sep 2016 • Solo
Mylar Park is a lovely well kept city park not far from were I live. The Greenway runs through the park and the habitat along the area is very diverse and beautiful.
On any given weekend, there are families with children having picnics, playing at the playground, enjoying disc golf and playing frisbee's with their dogs.
I'm fortunate to live so close to this little gem and I'd like to thank the City of Cheyenne for their great upkeep at Mylar Park.
The Greenway that runs through Mylar Park, connecting it with other areas of the city has been a tremendous benefit to all our citizens!

What a nice surprise in the Cheyenne area
Aug 2016 • Couples
We were in town for a day on our trip headed north, and we planned to visit the mall. But I knew in advance that there was a disc golf course nearby, so we stopped at Mylar Park for an hour of fun. Little did we know that there were fenced-in goats near the parking lot. Lots of goats! They were so cute, we couldn't stop watching them. But we finally did and headed up the paved path across the bridge to the first hole of disc golf. I enjoyed playing a few holes before returning to the parking lot to go to the Frontier Mall -- where there is a nice Western-themed gift store, by the way.
