Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went looking my first cowboy hat. I needed help with size, fit and style. Griff was my salesperson and could not have been more helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. Thank you Griff! Best customer service.

Replace the rude woman employee in the children’s section. The store is great other than that extremely rude and condescending girl!

I had read so much about The Wrangler before our trip and was so excited to get there. I was looking for all kinds of Western party goods, dishes, servers, etc., for my up-coming Western birthday party. I couldn’t wait. It’s a really cool looking building. I was so disappointed they told me they stopped selling that stuff and that it was now only a clothing, boot and cowboy hat store. I don’t think we were in there for more than 10 minutes. What a let down it was for us but if you are looking for Western attire, you might find it here.

Well stocked but it’s ‘just another Boot Barn’!
One of the associates visited with us for ages and that’s the reason we rated this place higher.
Save your money and support small family businesses.
Boot Barn really missed the mark on this one- such an old building that obviously was once an iconic outfitter business. Promote the history and it won’t just be ‘another Boot Barn’

I know to locals this is just another Boot Barn wrapped in a former venerable old building since the 1940's and was formerly a family run operation, but to us foreigners that don't know anything, it is an absolute Mecca for western wear. In fact, my wife bought three pairs of western boots which kept me out of the dog house and for that reason alone I am grateful that this place exists. Great selection of boots and western attire. Have also Montana Silversmith items. Be mindful of the hours, the web site currently has it open longer that is posted on the door. Currently the place closes at 7:00PM instead of 9:00PM. Other than that a helpful and attentive staff that is more than willing to secure your purchases. In house stock is not available to ship only on line purchases.

The outside of the Building is beautiful especially knowing the History of the building that we heard about on the Trolley Tour. We decided to walk over and go inside. We were both very dissapointed as inside it is JUST ANOTHER Boot Barn. I think they do a poor job as they do not promote the History in the store at all. Just a bunch of young clerks standing around at the time we went in. Perhaps if someone passes out a flyer about the history or the store and described a bit about the many boots and products they sell or new items for tourists and Cowboys alike at this location, they would do a lot more sales . Just a shame to see such a special place on the outside be so uninspired on the inside.

The three story red-painted brick building dominates a corner of Capitol Avenue by the train tracks. Home to some sort of retail outlet since its erection in 1892, the main building was joined with an adjacent former hotel sometime in the 1960s. (The upper floors of the main building itself were also formerly a hotel.) Together the two buildings give you about 13,000 square feet of ranchwear and Western clothing, hats, boots and accessories to choose from or just marvel at

Awesome location and obviously a historic store. In the age where big chain stores are grabbing your money and not giving back like small family businesses we choose to spend our hard earned $ with a family business.

The selection was adequate for men, women, and children. Can you blame me for desiring to take the whole store home with me? The jewelry, purses, shirts,...not to mention the BOOTS!
