Geological, or erosionel wonder, has BLM signage if you pay attention. Watch for haul trucks and heavy equipment , as the access is mostly on a private mine haul road. No facilities, self guided.

Rode past this many times, never knew they were there. Great place for kids, and educational. Little off the beaten path, wouldn’t advise it in wet or stormy weather.

If you are in the area it is worth your time to see this and other places in the foot hills of the Big Horn Mountains. It’s not just an empty desert!!!

Turnoff after Y split in road not posted so watch your mileage snd look for post on left with orange flag. Walk the length of the overlook as the formations change shape and color.

I have visited it several times, even in winter. Unlike Hell's half Acre, visitors can walk to the edges and even drive to the bottom. Magnificent multicolored rock strata.

A delightful short trip. Go N down Davis Lane and keep left. Cross over Shell Creek which waters every house and field in the Shell Valley, toward the grey hills filled with Kitty Litter or bentonite. B. was created by volcanic ash falling into salty...More

Devil's Kitchen is a little piece of The Badlands just outside of Greybull, WY. I'm no geology genius but I know this is a cool place to see and explore. It is very out of the way off some back dirt roads, but still accessible...More
