To the end of earth.

We had a great time with Graves as our guide. It was so secluded and peaceful. in the hot springs. Don't forget a towel, just in case.

We were in Jackson Hole Feb 5 - 10. After an unusual wind storm took town the power lines to the ski resort, everyone was left looking for something to do other than skiing. Avalanches were making travel to other resorts impossible and even snowmobile trips were hit and miss. We finally got a last minute booking for a Thursday... More

The location is about and hour from Jackson town. We had a hire car and we have hired from Jackson itself before. You arrive and they attend to your straight away. It's quick and easy and yo are in the gear ready to go in no time. The tour is self guided with clear maps and time frames. The scenery... More

We had a wonderful day with TJ at Granite Hot Spring! We had a great time playing around in the meadow on our snowmobiles! We even saw three moose on our way in and out in the van. On the way to the pool we got to stop and see the waterfall too! The pool was so clean and warm,... More

From the moment we were picked up at our door, til the time we were dropped off this tour was top notch! My husband and I are inexperienced Snowmobile drivers. Our guide, Jake Mangis and his team did an excellent job of instruction to get us suited up and on our way. All equipment was provided and in excellent condition.... More

My husband and I took our first snowmobile trip this past week. It was absolutely breath-taking. We would take the same tour again in a heartbeat. Ask for tour guide DAVE! He has to be the best around!!

Aside from fresh powder day at Jackson Hole, this was the highlight of our trip. The Brooks Lake trip was ideal for us - two inexperienced adult riders who want a 'real' snowmobile tour. We had booked the Continental Divide tour, but got upgraded/switched to Brooks Lake tour to make up numbers. 5 riders plus guide all together. All of... More

This was the first time I had ever driven a snowmobile, so I was a bit nervous but our guide (Tom) explained everything and off we went! It was snowing hard that day, so I had a bit of trouble keeping up at first, but then got the hang of it. The creek and area around the hot springs is... More

Granite Hot Springs is a must see. The round trip on the snowmobile wasn't near as long as yellowstone or the Tetons was, so looking back it was the perfect first day! Jeff is awesome. He was spotting animals all over the place. Thanks Jeff! That was incredible!

My hopefully soon to be fiancé are planning on flying in on Friday Jan 13 and leaving Monday Jan 16. I am wanting to propose to my GF while we are there. I don't know anything about the area but from pics it looks beautiful.

We have talked about going snowmobiling and possibly snowshoeing, taking a sleigh ride and doing the dog sledding also.

So my first thought was to just rent us a pair of snowmobiles and head out until I found that magical spot and moment, but we have never been one snowmobile even though I have ridden 4-wheelers, and reading up on operating a snowmobile. But I feel the group tour wouldn't give us that privacy I would like and there's no way I could afford a private guided outing. But we might still do a guided tour to just have fun and enjoy the scenery and if so which of the many tours do you recommend, I'm looking more for scenery and breath taking views, and also would like to, even though we're beginners we would like to still be able to have fun and attempt some moderate off trail adventure, doesn't have to be steep hill sides but atleast maybe attempt some off trail runs and turns where we can zig and zag with some speed.

I'm thinking maybe after we take a tour and get comfortable with a snowmobile I might then be able to come back and rent a snowmobile and we go out on our own to find or go back to that magical spot.

We're open to both a half or full day tour whichever you think might be what I'm looking for.

I know your in the snowmobile renting business and not the marriage proposal business, but I'm looking for advice from anyone on what would be a good private breath taking spot to propose. I've thought about snowshoeing out to moulton barn or taggert lake, but some say that is a good distance and it would be too cold.

I'm sort of panicking and afraid I'm going to travel 1600 miles and my plan not happen, since I'm not familiar with the area. I've talked to chamber of commerce and they just gave me links to things that are done in groups or to do privately (sleigh ride for one) are charging a lot of money and I just don't want to gamble and pay that and it not be what I was expecting or wanting. But I'm afraid if I don't book something now everything will be booked when we arrive.

So any suggestions anyone I can talk to.

Or basically if your female where would you like to be proposed to at, and if your male where would you propose to her at.

Someone mentioned tram up to top of ski resort. But I just have this vision of being out in the wilderness, acting like kids playing in snow, making snow angels, wrestling around, talking about how we got to this point and where our future will be and take is, then I spell out in snow in big letters "Will you marry me" while in front or back of us is this breath taking view.

I guess I'm just over thinking this

I don't want to fly in and have to feel like I'm scrambling trying to find that perfect spot.

I've thought about doing the sleigh ride and dinner, the dog sledding, but not sure that would be the perfect setting or give us that alone moment.

Thought about renting snowshoes or snowmobile but don't have clue where I'm going or what is accessible, I think if I could get to the Mormon barn with the Tetons view might be could spot but not sure how far a freezing hike that would be or how nice taggerd lake is that will probably be snow covered.

We're not much on skiing so I don't foresee riding the ski lift unless it would be the perfect spot then we would just ride it up to visit for the view

We're staying at the Rusty Parrot if that makes a difference

Any suggestions/advice/insight would be much appreciated

Thanks

Brian
