I had the pleasure of a Stargazing session with the Director of the Society. I learned SOOO much about the area, the sky and many planets, etc. I also could see the Yellowstone fires glow many miles away from the spot we did the skygazing at out near Kelly. I would highly recommend this attraction for families and adults alike.... More

We really enjoyed this package. We visited Jackson in the off season and as a result my wife and I had a private stargazing trip. We were able to view several objects, and Rebecca was really enthusiastic and helpful. She even gave me some tips for outfitting my telescope back home! Great service.

We were staying at Spring Creek Ranch, and they have a regular event on Mondays and Thursdays (weather permitting). We were lucky enough to have a clear evening and our astrophysicist was GREAT. Rebecca was knowledgeable, funny, interesting, and well-prepared. It was a cool night in October, and Rebecca had brought thick, warm blankets and had a large telescope (as... More

This could have a great experience, but the Moon and some clouds interfered. The guide for the night was super. He has a graduate degree in astrophysics and was passionate about astronomy education and outreach. It was 2 days before a full moon and the conditions were very poor for stargazing. Our guy did the best he could, but we... More

We had a great time seeing and learning about planets, stars, constellations, the Milky Way, galaxies and nebulae. Rebecca was terrific!

We booked with Samuel in early September 2016. We stayed at the North entrance to YNP and Samuel was really accommodating meeting us just inside the park after dark. We had attempted two previous evenings but the weather was cooperative. When we arrived he had chairs and blankets set up for six of us as well as iPads with a... More

Wow. This is a must-do if the skies are clear. The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone have some amazing sights, but the night sky through a big telescope with a great guide may have topped them all. Our guide, Jeff, picked us up at our hotel at sundown, drove about 20 minutes to avoid the lights of Jackson, and set up... More

We had Wyoming Stargazing out to a ranch in Wyoming on a cold, clear September night. Samuel provided an informative, fun program of stargazing, along with blankets, cider, and hot chocolate! We had about 10 adult couples of varying ages. All attendees enjoyed themselves very much and felt this was a special and unique part of our family union weekend.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a private star-gazing evening with Samuel. He was both a superb educator and gracious host. He set out chairs, blankets, hot chocolate and started us with iPads. Meanwhile he was setting up the biggest telescope I've ever seen. We then began viewing planets, nebulae and stars. Samuel is a well informed and articulate teacher... More

Sky-guide Samuel Singer is a deeply knowing astronomer, and a great teacher too. With humor, evident fascination of his own, and a sensitivity to folks of a wide range of interest / knowledge and attention, he deciphered the night sky in terms that everyone could appreciate...even if the scope & scale were hard to grasp.
