We spend the afternoon taking a 2 hour trail ride. The guide was quite and left us enjoy the spectacular view. It was peaceful sitting in the saddle and moving slowly. When the horse starts to trot you will feel it in your body and...More

I am an experienced rider, and was hoping to go on the 3 hour ride up into the Tetons. However, unfortunately the day I chose (and couldn't change plans) turned out to be right after a soggy summer storm....and I ended up only doing the...More

With all rides in the national park booked this turned out to be an even better alternative. Located just outside the park borders at the end of a five mile dirt road, they run a no-nonsense business. Just be there early and they will put...More

The ride was good, but the trail was straight up. I would hate to ride it if there had been any rain. Could be treacherous. Be prepared for a long drive in on a gravel road. Thought we would never get there!

If you are looking to go horseback riding while in the Tetons, this is the place to use! I found them online, plus they were recommended by Jackson Lake Lodge. We were in the Tetons for a wedding and wanted to do a family ride...More

My daughter and I enjoyed a 2 hour afternoon ride with our guide Woody. The scenery was incredible, the ride was great fun (and challenging at times), and the trail was filled with a variety of landscapes. Only suggestion -- wish there was a way...More

This is a great place to ride. It is about a 5 mile drive on gravel roads, so beware it is dusty and bumpy. We arrived and immediately went out for a rid with no reservation required. Horse were strong and healthy. Our kids are...More

Dear Tripadvisor Reviewer, In your review, you mentioned the first 15 minutes is rough, and also suggested not carrying a camera in the backpack. Can you tell me more? I am considering a trail ride with them. Thanks. A Tripadvisor Reader

We did the 3 hour ride. You can use backpacks for the longer rides, but they discourage them for shorter ones because people tend to overpack and you don't need that much gear on the trail. I would suggest taking simple... More

I have a 6 year old who is just at 48 inches. She meets their minimum age/height requirements, but I am a little nervous to put her on a horse all by herself. Will someone lead her horse for her if I request that?

I'm assuming you are doing a 1 or 2 hr. ride? I doubt they will lead the horse the entire trail. Maybe they will spend some time leading her around the corral area so she can get used to the horse before going on the trail... More
