We drove this highway between I-80 and Moran, best part is the area of Grand Tetons of course. The drive from Pinedale to Jackson in the morning was dense fog, glad there wasn't much traffic at that time because visibility was so limited. Much better view on the return to Pinedale. Saw lots of small groups of pronghorn, some great... More

LOVE seeing the mountains while driving on Hwy 191. The drive goes thru several small towns... be sure to stop in Farson for an ice cream cone!

I drove it from Madison Junction in Yellowstone National Park, south through the park and the Tetons (amazing mountains rising so high from the lower area around them), Jackson and then on to Pinedale. Here the forests give way to a drier area with rolling hills and a dry steppe-like landscape until reaching Rock Springs -it crosses the Oregon Trail... More

We drove this route from Jackson to Pinedale, and it was just as good, if not better, than anything we saw in Yellowstone or along the Tetons!!!!

Took this highway from Grand Teton National Park all the way to I-80. I really enjoyed the scenery along the highway. I also enjoyed the ranches and small towns I saw. The road was excellent. Though it is a 2 lane highwy, there were frequent passing zones and many places to pull off. Not a lot of places to purchase... More

Coming in from the south you will be bored by this endless straight road with nothing to see. After Pinedale it picks up and meanders through some pleasant forests.

We drove this route from Grand Teton National Park to Flaming Gorge. An amazing scenic drive teeming with wildlife, pronghorn deers, mule deers, even spotted a mountain lion! I almost hit two marmots.

Traveled this road from Rock Springs to Jackson, WY. Traffic was light and road was well maintained. We found a nice public restroom in Pinedale one block off the highway on Madison. Sign said it was open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight.

I enjoyed seeing pronghorn here & there roaming freely. They seem to travel in groups but sometimes you'd only see 1 or 2 alone. I'd suggest getting to your destination during daylight though because dawn/dusk increases your chances of animals possibly crossing the road & you dont want to hit one. Scenery sure is beautiful though!
