Don't let the front door fool you. Inside are more than books. Sculptures in bronze, a rotating art exhibit, a cozy coffee area, and a courtyard with a great statue named "Imagination" are waiting to be admired. For me, the best surprise was the floor in the beautiful meeting space in the back of the building. The floor is marked with a labyrinth and when the room isn't in use, you can walk the labyrinth. Definitely worth a look.

This is by far one of the best libraries I've been to. Great design in both structures. Super clean bathrooms. Guest computers are 21" iMacs! Great art hanging all over this place. A must stop see in this little town!

This is my favorite place to relax in Pinedale. Pinedale has become a bit touristy. But the library is so beautiful.

When traveling, there comes that moment when I need peace. I need a break from the go go go (I'm a mom of two beautiful girls, ages 10 and 4, so we have a lot of go go go). Sometimes, you can find that at a local coffee shop. For Pinedale, that place is the library. The environment is open, light, warm. There is ample and well placed seating. Most importantly, they have interesting and alternating art exhibits. So wonderful! If you are traveling with kids, the children's room has plenty of games, computers, etc... to keep your little ones occupied. If you are looking for peaceful, I will say to avoid the hours of 3-5 pm as the energy changes with after school programming. Really amazing place! Do check it out!!
