The Homesteader Museum has tons of history on Powell and the surrounding area. Everyone who works or volunteers there is very friendly.

This free museum was well worth the stop! We made a special trip from Cody to see it & were so glad we Did! Brings back many memories. Farm equipment was amazing! Displays were very well put together!

A terrific place for the whole family to experience what small town life was like when the West was homesteaded. There are many opportunities to see, touch, and interact with the collections, both indoors and out. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff always ready to help.
