Hubby and I moved here three years ago and were excited to visit the museum, as we have in many other places we've lived. Sheridan; however, is not your average town. Things in Sheridan stay very much the same.

I was intreged with the history of the area. I didn't realize coal was such a big part of the areas history. Liked the Indian battle panaramic. I spent 2 hrs there but it can be toured in about an hour if you don't have to many interests in the area.

Great museum with historical facts about the Sheridan area! We enjoyed the story of the Flume ride! It was interesting to learn that they grow sugar beets and retrained and raised horses for the war plus the history of wars and skirmishes with Native American! If you like to learn about history you'll love this place! And the admission is... More
