Brought our 3 year old son who was lulled to sleep by the soft sounds of Kyle's voice. We had a great 50-minute tour - circled the Kiluea volcano several times, so both sides could get a great view. Saw the lava hit the ocean, Saw several waterfalls, including one that was not on the tour as often but we... More

It was a wonderful experience! The scenery was stunning, Kyle our pilot, was informative, made sure that all of us on the copter saw the crater and the lava flows, as well as rainbow falls. Doreen checked us in and provided the safety briefing and was very attentive .

My first time in Hawaii, on a hilcopter and seeing an active volcano. Breathtaking views, our pilot was Kyle. Great guy, knowledgeable, smooth flight. We did the 50 min tour, the weather was perfect and Doreen is so friendly back at the base. Totally 100% recommend that anybody wanting to do a helitour use these guys.

Safari Helicopters were a great company to deal with for our recent holiday to Hilo, Hawaii. As a family we travelled to the 'Big Island' via the cruise ship Pride of America. The staff were friendly and eager to assist by answering my emails and set up a day of activities prior to booking on line a few months ahead... More

We had a great time on this trip. The volcano was bubbling and we had lava flow. The pilot was very informative and we had a great time at the volcano and the water falls.

Nice trip to the crater and over the lava fields. Then back to the north to see the waterfalls, streams and forest areas around Hilo. our pilot, Richard, was great at explaining the areas that we went over. He managed to position the helicopter so that we could see a rainbow in the mist.

Our flight on 12/9/16 was outstanding. Doreen greeted and briefed us on where to go have lunch since were crazy early for a 1:45 brief and show time. She provided a professional and very direct safety brief, usher us to the aircraft and off went with Kyle, our pilot. Kyle's knowledge of the island, history of the Volcanoes and local... More

My first ever trip in a helicopter and it was in Hawaii visiting an active volcano. This small, friendly company made me feel at ease and were very professional. The flight was over all too soon for me. I would recommend Safari.
