This was an amazing and very informative tour of the most impressive lava tube in Hawaii. Our guide Harry was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about volcanoes. It was really helpful as we toured the rest of the island to think of all he had taught us. You really should do this your if you're in the big... More

This lava tube is much more interesting than the Thurston Lava Tube. If you have any interest in geology I highly recommend this tour. Harry literally wrote the book about features in lava tubes and is passionate about sharing the treasures to be found here. His sharp eye noticed a tiny centepede and a cave cricket during our tour. The lava tube tour is an amazing experience ! Harry's explanation were very interesting, it was like a geology lesson. This is a very unique nature wonder to visit, and it is very accessible.

We visited multiple parks, dove for a week in the pacific, tried local restaurants, and much more. Harry's tour was the most fun and interesting tour we did! If I ever make it back to Hawaii I will do the 4 hour tour. Harry's knowledge is amazing, and he takes safety very serious! Don't let the email scare you, it... More

Following reviews on Tripadviser and directly on website we took the 2 hour tour with Harry - a lifetimes worth of knowledge on lava tubes and one of the most geological adventures you will ever experience. I also bought his book on line for about $20. thru off site " Understanding Lava Tubes" which I highly recommend for any science/geology/engineer... More

This was truly different and exceptional! Harry had such vast geological and historical knowledge and was extremely passionate about the cave. The cave was amazing, ranging from about 5ft to 55ft ceilings. Harry was great at conveying the knowledge clearly and was a very comfortable guide. I'd highly recommend the 4hr tour because I hadn't seen enough at 2 hours.... More

I have never been in a lava tube and thought this was so cool. It was like walking on a lava river in a lava pipe frozen in time. Definitely recommend.

My 12yo son, my husband and I took the 2 hour tour. What a wonderful experience! We learned a ton about the cave systems on the island and generally had a great time.

This was a hidden gem for us. We really loved learning all about the lava tubes. You can tell the guy who runs and owns this is very passionate about sharing this with people. Totally worth the trip.

Visited Kazumura during the 17th International Symposium on Volcanic Caves for the four hour tour and was truly impressed with the lava tube itself, with Harry's thorough knowledge of the cave and its ecosystem and geology, and his passion for preserving and protecting this unique and very special environment. Even as an experienced caver of 20+ years I still found... More
