Went by three times on a Saturday and you could hear music or tv inside but there was a closed sign. No hours listed or anything to let you know when they would be open. Stopped by 3 different times on a Saturday with no luck - was very disappointed.

We always make it a point to stop here in Hanapepe for taro chips. We wanted to take pictures but were afraid to ask if it was okay. He looked interesting frying up the chips. Maybe we will ask next time. Good product.

We drove by this place and we would have kept going if we weren't warned that the building looked run down. The taro chips were great. You just have to get past the look at the place.

Do not judge a book by it's cover..in this case a building by its product. You know you are at the right place by the smell of the oil that hits you as you exit your car. Once inside do not expect to be greeted. Buy your chips and leave. They are light, crispy and amazing. Not the least bit... More

We got a bag of Taro chips and Okinawan Sweet Potato chips. Both were lightly salted w/ garlic salt. The Taro chips were light & airy and better than the Sweet Potato chips (they had a denser/heavier taste). The chips are pricey ($4.50 for a 3.5oz bag), but the Taro chips are worth it. The old guy manning the front... More

Hole in the wall, with a strange little man cooking chips in bid vats. Delicious! Worth looking for and finding.

Tiny little shack. Don't blink or you will miss it. Great chips ate whole bag. Sweet potato chips awesome. We got there just before closing and no more Taro chips.

Tried all their chips and all were the best! I wish I knew it at first so we can buy the whole box and bring it home, a must see and try at Hanapepe

Just a small, old shack with great chips and a peculiar little old dude! Wouldn't call it a "must stop" but it is in a quaint little town and is rich with culture.
