Located in Hanapepe on Kaumaualii highway. The temple is off limits, so just walked around the perimeter fence and took photos. Surprising to see such an ornate temple along the road in Hanapepe. Worth the stop for a photo op.

What a lovely temple, fully visible from the main road in Hanapepe. Everything around here has a dramatic and beautiful backdrop, and this site is made even more peaceful because of it!

The temple is located at 1-3500 Kaumualii Hwy, Hanapepe. It is situated on the main highway between Lihue and Kekaha. We drove by and it caught our attention. We turned around to enter but there were signs stating that it was off limits and we respected their request, so we walked around the grounds outside the fence. Very interesting building... More

We visited this temple on a weekday and it wasn't open, but we walked around the property and had a picnic lunch out on the front yard grass......It's on a 2 lane road and not much traffic, so it's a nice site to explore....The statue is quite big and old, but awesome.....not much to do, though...
