Roberts Hawaii - Coco Palms

Many people will remember the wedding scene from "Blue Hawaii" - this was filmed at Coco Palms. Unfortunately the property has gone to ruin. We were told that some investors from... read more

We last took this tour about three years ago. And we enjoyed it immensely and recommend it to family and friends visiting Kuaui. The tour focuses on the east side of the island where a number of films were made. The tour is conducted on mini buses with a 42 inch TV screen used to display the "canned portion" of... More

Very disappointed. We tried to call for reservations early this morning and could never get through. Decided to do the online reservation. Went through the whole booking process online and got an immediate reservation number, plus a reservation confirmation email. Guess what? They called tonight at 6:30 to say our reservation was a "mistake". No available spots! I guess they... More

We would give this Movie Tour a '5 out of 10'. On the one hand Connie the Tour Guide was just so delightful. You couldn’t meet a more friendly, 'full of smiles' guide. The first part of the tour was excellent. We viewed a documentary on the filming of Jurassic Park and how cast members were caught up in Hurricane... More

Tour was okay if you like watching clips of old movies. Some beautiful scenery and got some lovely photos. It was suppose to be a 6 hour tour but arrived back at Port just around the 5 hour mark. I couldn't eat the lunch that was provided. Doesn't cater for fussy eaters. But if you enjoy burgers like my partner... More

My husband is a great movie buff, so he was thrilled by this tour. We got to see scenes from many movies made on Kauai and then we saw the actual places where those scenes were filmed. Michelle was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and clearly proud of her island. There was background music on the videos and... More

Wow - this was an extremely fun and informational trip with plenty of amazing scenery. The bus was equipped with an large screen TV that showed you the clips of the places you are visiting right as you get there. The handouts they provided with all the movies were good too. Lunch at a local restaurant was provided and was... More

My husband and I were picked up early from a hotel in Princeville. We were the first ones to be picked up and quickly became acquainted with Mickey, our fabulous tour guide for the day. We had a small group of 13 folks for the tour which made for a nice day. We went to six different locations: Hanamaulu Bay;... More

My teen son is a movie buff and before going off to study film we decided to take this tour. It was planned for Saturday but they cancelled due to the narrator being ill. No problem they rescheduled for the next day and it was so worth it. It was just my son and me as well as one couple.... More

I can't add much to what has already been said in other reviews. We were picked up at the pier with a van as scheduled. We visited many sites including the former Coco Palms. There were some excellent photo opportunities and luckily for us there were only two duplicate locations from our Photo Tour the day before. I don't remember... More

Many people will remember the wedding scene from "Blue Hawaii" - this was filmed at Coco Palms. Unfortunately the property has gone to ruin. We were told that some investors from Oahu were going to rebuild as it once was. Roberts Hawaii is the only tour company that can enter the property - to a limited extent. You travel around... More
