I was very impressed with the quality of the Made in Hawaii items in this store, and the overall selection. The shopkeeper was very helpful. The strap was coming loose from my purse and I asked if she had a safety pin I could use until I could sew it back. She whipped out her sewing kit and fixed it... More

Had to chuckle.......every time I picked up something, the proprietress would say, "buy two, get one free!" Lots of t-shirts, jewelry, typical souvenir stuff.

OVER PRICED. The store is packed full of the same items at other stores. We bought the same shirt at Longs Drugs and it was $10.99. This store had it for sale for $26.88. It was the exact same shirt. The lady in a demeaning tone told my wife do not try our clothes on if you have sunscreen on.... More

This is a cute little area for shopping. There were some reasonable prices and one store even offered us buy 2 get one free on everything in the store. We picked up some souvenirs to bring home.

Such History with this town. Thank goodness they haven't ever build. It would be a shame to turn this town into a commercial area. It hasn't changed since I lived in Kauai in the late 80's and have visit this area in many occasions and since I left in '91 it hasn't changed much. Same old structure and roads haven't... More

Fun little shopping district. Nice for a stroll to break up the adventures in paradise. Stores sell clothes, some ice cream, some grocery, some art. Not at all ticky0tacky beach crapola. Pizzeta is there. Fun day.

I stopped in around lunchtime today with the intention of purchasing a UV-protectant shirt as we were getting ready to go hiking. I asked if the shirts I was looking at provided sun protection and the sales person told me to read the tag. After looking at the tags, I asked if the sizes were all adult of if some... More

Cute area, lots of tourist stores to buy trinkets and souvenirs. The entire area is a few blocks and easily walked. If you have extra time and have seen all the beauty of Kauai, stop here for and hour. FYI don't stop at the pizza restaurant, YUCK, so soggy .

Such a cute little town, filled with old plantation buildings that now house shops, clothing stores, and restaurants. Definitely worth a visit.
