It’s beautiful, breathtaking views! I saw few people were swimming. I don’t how those people go down & swimming under the water fall. It’s too risky. I guess worthwhile for them!!

The best part of Wailua Falls is that you can drive up, hop out of your car, and see it. There is a trail that goes down to the pool below, but it's a bit harrowing. I wouldn't recommend it if the trail is wet....More

We hired a taxi from our resort and went up for 1 hour. Beautiful waterfall and easy to see from the car park. Encountered a few wild pigs and chooks as well!

A must see when visiting Kaua'i but get to it early in the morning before the clouds start to build for the day and all those ridiculous helicopters arrive with tourist buzzing around the island.

Amazing place. Don’t forget to bring bug spray. Take the Alii Kayaks tour to get there. They are the best.

Absolute must do. Not hard to get too, GPS finds it on Waze. Parking may be a little challenging but just chill, someone is always coming and going. The falls are simply amazing and euphoric. Take it all in! There is someone always selling local...More

Great place to see a waterfall, especially if it just rained heavily. The parking is tight, and you need to practice patience and Aloha to manuver around. All in all, not a big issue. Worth the short drive to see it.

These falls are easily accessible on the East side of the island with some great photo opportunities. There is limited parking at the end.

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More
