Same as every other store

Not a real fan of this store. Its the same products and high prices as all other stores on other islands.

Right on the main highway. When you arrive you are greeted and given a shell necklace. This store has it all! We got matching clothing for a luau we were attending. Nice gift store too,

My wife & I made a stop at Hilo Hattie on our last day on Kauai. Yes, it's a tourist trap in the traditional sense of the term, but the staff is very welcoming (we each received a shell lei when we entered the store) and the selection of goods & gifts is extensive and the prices are surprisingly low... Located real close to Walmart, Hilo Hattie is a good place to find all types of Hawaiian wear of all kinds. Lots of souvenir things to pick up for family and friends. Parking can be a little crowded at times.

This is such a fun place to visit. Like visiting and old time Five and Dime Hawaiian style. We go every time we visit the islands. There are several locations all through the islands. We have coffee cups from here that we bought ten years ago. The free shell leis and the punch are an old Hawaiian welcoming tradition. It... More

We make our trip to Hilo Hattie's every time we are on Kauai. In the past it has always been the place to find just about anything at a reasonable price. Not any longer! They have cut down on the merchandise and it is very expensive! The clothing was always expensive now even the gifts are ridiculous. We walked in... More

If you are looking for red, white or blue Hawaiian matching shirts & dresses this is the place to go. They do have other things, but most were a little higher priced than I had seen at the ABC stores. My husband got a t-shirt he liked that he hadn't seen anywhere else but he did pay more for it.... We always make a stop to get the grand children some matching outfits that are on sale. This trip did not disappoint. We got my grandson and grand daughter matching white print Hawaiian shirt and dress and artificial leis. They looked so cute later when they posed for pictures by the ocean and then the next day when we went... More

Hilo Hattie's seems to have outlived it's time. Pretty cheesy Hawaiian apparel at about 3 times the price of other nearby stores including Wal Mart and KMart with about the same quality level. When you enter they present you with a shell lei which is a nice touch. The day we stopped in the air conditioning was broken and it... More

Once again we tried Hilo Hattie's. It was so unbelievably hot. We came in and out in less than five minutes. No shopping is worth baking for
