Great hike with beautiful views along the whole trek. There is a beach at the start of the hike, nice for a swim before and after! Nice trail, I'd suggest a sneaker and not a sandal due to various different terrains.

Wear running shoes as it is a dirt path. Stunning views. Lots of photo opportunities. Panaramic ocean views. It is hilly and bumpy, so sandals aren't the best choice.

We love the hike from Shipwreck Beach to Kawailoa Bay. We have done it many times and always go back at least once if not 3 times when we visit Kauai.

Walk the trail along these cliffs, but don't get too close as they are severely undercut. You can see where pieces have broken off and fallen into the ocean. The salt water has eroded the cliffs into cool formations. The trail is easy to walk and the views are beautiful. This was also pretty quiet without many people during the... More

Stunning views of crystal clear waters from the top. Be warned, there is NO BEACH access - from the top of these cliffs. Walk along 2 mile trail. We spotted a HUGE turtle from the top.

Many trails criss-cross this part of the beach trail. Formation is not the common lava base you might expect to see here. Good views. Get out for a hike.

Far from rush and development, great natural wild place. Perfect if you look for calm, quite and beautifull natural place. Cool sunset watching place.

A walk along these bluffs is a highlight of any trip to Kauai. The views are wonderful and the walk is not strenuous.

A very gentile hike along the south shore offers spectacular views and great breezes to keep you cool.

This is an easy walk from the Grand Hyatt and definitely worth the time. Take water as it gets hot early. Lovely breezes (gusts actually) to keep one cool. The trail leads to one magnificent overlook after another with few crowds.
