Went to the park to meet friends and we were pleasantly surprised by its beauty and wild life. One morning we saw seven giant tortoises laying eggs on the beach, a pod of dolphins and a monk seal sunning himself. There is some good snorkelling...More

This is a great little beach to snorkel. There are lots of people here but it's still fun. Lots of parking and facilities so a great place to bring the kids. There is a swimming area for kids to the north and then another beach...More

What a lovely beach. Poipu Beach has something for everyone. There are restrooms, covered picnic benches, trees to offer shade, calm waters and even monk seals resting nearby. We didn’t go in the water but it looked quite nice, for snorkeling or for lounging around....More

This is a really good swimming spot for kids and families. Lots of beach and green space. Very, very busy place. The surf is good for boogie boards especially.

After arriving at Poipu Beach walk just a few steps north around the corner in front of the Marriot the beach may be smaller but it is cleaner, less crowed and almost no chickens. It is a better swimming beach.

We totally loved the Poipu Beach Park. It is ideal for families with kids, sunsets are absolutely stunning and we came to watch turtles every evening. We even saw a monk seal here

It would be good for beginner snorkeling! It is protected by a reef so water is not rough. You need to be aware that in some spots the distance between rock and water surface is very very shallow and you need to be careful... More
