Quick stop to seeing some water blowing through a rock hole

Yes, it seems every island has a blow hole. This one is not more exceptional than any of the others, but it is fun to look at.

Reading other reviews on the Spouting Horn, I found it interesting that people raised on video games and texting find nature lame and boring. I'm not sure what they were expecting, a Disney outcome, maybe? The horn is what it is: Water spraying out of a small hole while air rushing through a separate opening provides the noise. I'm sure... They surprised us with a craft market on this beautiful viewing spot. Turtles were seen in the ocean with an amazing nature attraction. A learning experience on the effect of water on rocks, year after year after year. Beautiful!

It's one of those things to see if you are looking, but not a must-see. It is neat, but just one of those typical tourist spots with a viewing platform and mini shops on a small boardwalk. Great for families with very young children as walk from car and easily accessible.

Not really much to see. If waves are up probably could be more impressive. Would have to have some big seas for that. I wouldnt go out of my way to see it. Small local trinket sellers and bathrooms.

Waves rush in and water spouts out.. all to tune of a horn(name your choice). A safety fence is added for your protection. Parking is ample so pull on in.

Great views and you can often see whales. The waves create little geysers near the shore, thus the name. There is a craft market most days from about 10-4 with a variety of jewelry and local crafts.

It only takes a couple of minutes to walk from the parking lot to the best 'blow holes' so stop by often. The spouting is surprisingly high even for very small waves, but it must be something else in high waves. The waves come not small openings in the soft lava rocks, then get pushed up to jet out vertical... More

This spot is easy to get to at end of a road. There is ample parking and we were there at low tide and still saw the hole "spouting" quite a bit of water. Great spot for photos

You can drive to an overlook with a good view of the Spouting Horn...can't get closer...doesn't take much time to visit...several tourist shops line the entrance...worth the time if you're near Poipu...
