Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

When your tour guide over-enunciates Make-A-PeePee and your wife rolls her eyes as you start laughing because of how immature you are, it's a good time.
The falls has a very steep drop off on the left side and the bridge actually goes over the top of it. Glad I wasn't driving.

This is one of the sights on the road to Hana. You really can't pull over because cars are stacked up on the bridge to take pictures. If you are fortunate enough to get a spot to park it appeared to be worth stopping. Unfortunately, we could only slow down and look at the falls. Wish we could have stopped, but there was no room for us to park.

Nice place to stop and take a picture on the road to Hana. The falls and the bridge make for a nice combination.

Best Banana bread ever is available by a woman with a stand at the pull off after the bridge here. Falls are a little hard to see from the side of the road, you'd have to stop on the bridge, which is dangerous and illegal!

Take a picture as you drive by. The day we went, it was raining, so this was "roaring" down. Just a nice slow down on the Road to Hana.

Awesome array of waterfalls flowing down this Hawaiian mountain and just great photo opportunity. We just loved all the waterfalls on the way t Hana bay. Just really cool.

This waterfall is viewed from the road. Park your car and walk on the bridge to view it and take some pictures. If traffic is light you can slow down or stop right on the bridge to see it.

Beautiful falls that can only be seen looking down from a bridge. Therefore you must park your vehicle and get out of your car to see. However, be careful when looking over the edge. Many people have fallen to their death here from looking over too far. When we visited, there were roses along the edge for the people that have lost their life. Be careful if trying to take a picture as well as you may lose your cell phone or camera. There are plenty of other options on the Road to Hana to see waterfalls!

Just past mile marker 25 on the road to Hana you will find Makapipi Falls. This waterfall differs from many of the others on this road in that when you view it from the bridge you are standing at the very top of the falls. We opted to drive just a bit past it for a picture. It is one of the many wonderful waterfalls and beautiful sights to see as you drive to Hana.

When on the Road to Hana, Makapipi Falls is a great place to stop for photo opportunities of the falls and surrounding area.
