Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a lovely stop on the " road to hana tour " The staff were very nice and seeing many of the blooms up close and being able to touch some that were for handling by visitors was great. We had a quick talk about the flowers grown and shown some of the displays they create and send out. We were each given a flower and leaf to take away with us. They also have a small shop to purchase their own items, and of course you can get some flowers sent. Not sure if they would be able to send to the UK.

Such a cool little spot! My wife and I went in on a whim, and we're definitely glad we did. Were welcomed and brought for a tour of the entire facility, including getting to handle a bunch of the plants. A really amazing variety! We bought a number of items to bring home with us (including an air plant, which doesn't need water or sunlight to survive - perfect for me), and just placed our first orchid order for my mother for Valentine's Day. Definitely worth a pull-in as you head into Hana!

We stopped here after hearing about it on the app that was guiding us said we could ship orchids to the mainland. The staff was super friendly from the moment we arrived. We were assisted in selecting a beautiful orchid to send home.

This is a really neat place that grows Hawaiian plants. I wish the area where they welcome guests was a bit nicer because they could better highlight their work, but it's still a neat place to stop.

We stopped here just to fill in a rainy afternoon in Hana. A very friendly and knowledgable staff member gave us a tour of the grounds and the greenhouses and explained how they grew the orchids and other tropical flowers. We ended up buying a centerpiece for our Christmas table and a few orchids as gifts. They arranged to ship so that we would receive them right before Christmas. Everything arrived in beautiful condition. Hana Tropicals let us take our Hawaiian vacation home with us and let it last through the holidays.

Feel the Aloha at this working flower farm. Drive into the jungle until you come to a magical canopy of towering trees clearing a way to the farm building and orchid house, find out how they run the tropical flower operation. See the farm animals milling around. Take a short tour with one of friendly workers and get a little souvenir to take back.

I was so glad we stopped here! Great variety of tropical flowers! We sent bouquets to our both of our parents for them to enjoy a piece of Hawaii at home. Both of our moms thought that was the neatest thing to receive a bouquet of fresh Hawaiian grown tropical flowers while we were still there for several days! (We live in Mississippi, so the tropical flowers are rare for us!)

My wife and I stopped here on our way back on the Road to Hana. It’s a very neat property. We were given a quick tour and explanation of all the plants that they grow. There are some truly bizarre plants there - very unique. They then showed us all their orchids they grow. There are some amazing looking and smelling (one smelled exactly like chocolate) orchids! They explained that they can ship them to you when they’re just about to bloom. They even gave my wife a free flower! I would highly recommend stopping here on your way to or from Hana!

We stopped here on our tour. The place is small but we were given a short talk on the different flowers. The worker squeezed the flowers and one smelled like fruit loops cereal, one smelled like chocolate milk and another was rather pungent. One flower rattled like a rattle snake tail and we were told that many years ago, this flower was used as a toddlers play toy. We were told we could order flowers to send home, but it was not a hard sale, just a mention. This is not worth a separate trip, of course, but worth stopping in if you want a place to stretch your legs and are interested in the tropical flowers. They also have some orchids. I would like to have rated this place higher, as the workers were very nice and friendly and we did learn about the different plants. However, there just wasn’t much to see.

The wife and I stopped by while on the road to Hana. What an amazing place they have. Lots of knowledge to go around and great deals. Once I found the orchids I liked they shipped them two day shipping all included in the price of the orchids. They were very accommodating and gave me a great deal! Will be a return customer via online!
