At Wailele Polynesian Luau dinner show, guests will embark on an exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories. Recognized for providing an award-winning experience, the luau is held oceanfront at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and features dances and songs from old and modern Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand (Maori), Tonga and Samoa. Highlights include the story of Pele (Goddess of Fire), Hi'ilave Hula Awana dedicated to Wailele (meaning waterfalls) and Maui's most extreme fire knife dance finale called "Siva Afi". The unforgettable evening of fun, culture and entertainment is complemented by a traditional dinner served buffer style and selection of beverages.

We bought the premium pkg so no worry about getting a front row or second row seat. Great service by our waiter. Very funny M.C. Food was great. Open bar was good. Nice white wine. The dancers were fantatastic and the fire show was spectacular. Souvenir photo was well done. Family friendly. Music was well choreographed. Very relaxed and fun... More

First time in Hawaii and first time going to a Luau so I have nothing to compare it to and had no idea what to expect. I loved every minute of it. They start of the show with a master of ceremonies who does a bit on how to open a coconut - hilarious. From there, it's dinner time buffet... More

We attended this Luau on Sept 27, 2016. It was the first Luau for both myself and my husband. The entertainment was wonderful, the MC was funny and kept you interested. The dancers were amazing, the highlight was the fire show!!! The food was delicious, they had a variety for everyone. It was great to be able to try some... More

This is the best Polynesian Lu'au we have ever seen! Great story telling by Atu the master of ceremony. The fire knife dance towards the end of the show is the best ever.

We have been to several luaus in Hawaii over the years and really enjoyed this show, the setting, the meal, and the service. The MC was hilarious and the foods we selected very tasty. The waiter was more than attentive. The show, as others have said, is Polynesian and very entertaining. Go see it! It's good value!

Wailele Polynesian luau is a Polynesian luau as oppose to Hawaiian luau. It is authentic because because out of the five Polynesian islands that is showcased, 4 natives are represented, the songs, the costumes, the numbers were taught by the natives of these islands. For the Wailele to be compared to the Polynesian cultural center is abit flattery. The cultural... More

I've been to Luau at Polynesian Cultural Centre in Oahu and that was the best! This one at Westin Maui really sucked. The food was terrible. The drinks were aweful. Everything was below average! I'm sure there are other good Luaus in Maui but I would not recommend luau at Westin to anyone.

Compared to previous luau experiences, this was by far my favorite. The tables are small and intimate and people are seated so that no one at the table has to turn around to see the stage. We had our 4 month old daughter with us and felt totally at home since there were many other young families there. The bathrooms... More
