Great place for shopping. There is a ABC Store there with everything you need T shirts souvenirs and basic needs for a decent price. Mall is open air lots of shopping. Beware of the timeshare sales people very persistent.

If all you want to do is shop, this is a great place for you. The prices are higher than you will find elsewhere, but you can find some really cool stuff here that you can't find elsewhere. Trust me, you'll pay for it. At...More

This is exactly the kind of place that you expect to find at any tourist site. Lots of high end merchandise that you can buy anywhere in the world.

This very, very, small exhibit is located at the Whalers Village shopping centre and can act as a 5-mins distraction. There are 1 or 2 exhibits on display and the "museum" (I use the term loosely) is mainly aimed at encouraging awareness and funds for...More

Closed until further notice. Would have been interesting. Whaling played a large role in 1800s Hawaii. Today whales still migrate to the islands to give birth before heading north again. Whale watching tours abound on all islands.

After driving over from Wailea in the pouring rain, parking in their garage, navigating more rain to find the facility map to locate the museum, we find a security guard who tells us the museum is closed for renovation. We had no desire to shop...More

Nice area to shop and look around. They had several restaurants in the area and had some free shows that you could attend

Very crowded as there are so many timeshares. However, the stores are upscale and food is acceptable.

You get yourself a ticket and you get 1 hour free, but if you buy something in one of the stores, get your ticket validated and get another 3 hour parking free for a total of 4 hours.

There is a bus system on Maui. Check there website to see what the routes and schedules are. I don't know if they plan to have the museum rebuilt by then. It is currently a pile of dirt. The shopping is higher end shops.
