One of the attendants showed us around and it made all the difference. He was very knowledgeable not only about the artefacts displayed but also about the Chinese history and various dynasties. Worth a visit.

As part of the Passport to the past, I found this museum very interesting. The are some beautiful pieces in the Museum and don't forget to check out the table. This museum displays the impact the Chinese had on Maui and its development. There is...More

Purchased a passport good for 4 historical sites. Baldwin House and Wo Hing Temple Museum were the 2 we saw. Interesting and beautiful pieces of furniture - pictures. There is a film that previews how the islands looked decades ago. Worth seeing.

Lots of history here. Good for 30 minutes to an hour. Also good for a bathroom stop. Spend the time. It is worth it.

We visited here on the 150th Birthday of Sun Yat-Sen. Many people were on hand to guide us through various exhibits. Historical items dating back thousands of years are in this small but deeply enriching museum. One could breeze through in fifteen minutes but, if...More

Great history of chinese and buddhist visitors to HI. Why they came, how, and their contributions. Part of the "3 museums" visitor pass makes it a bargain for tourists. Not far from one of the few left Lappert's ice ceam stores--expect $5/scoop, though.

One fee gets you into several Maui museums, and we discovered that we had free entry to Wo Hing, which is right on Front Street in Lahaina. It's small but interesting. The building itself is lovely. The first floor is mostly filled with older Chinese...More
