This beach had free parking nearby if you arrive by around 10am, and amazing snorkeling over coral! We saw hundreds of beautiful fish, and a turtle or two swims by you there too! The beach is sandy and it was one of the calmest ones...More

Absolutely the best beach in west Maui if you want gentle waves and lots of crystal clear water. Coral reef to the north (in front of the Westin) is great for snorkeling; the beach itself is sandy and easy to get in / out of....More

Because Napili bay was mucked up from Olivia, we spent a couple days here snorkeling and enjoying the beach. There is adequate parking (a big deal on Maui!). Water was clear, but the rocks start very close to shore making exiting the water a bit...More

Very clean friendly beach with restroom and showers. There were a couple of homeless people taking their weekly showers, but they were nice.

The beach was easy to get to and parking was close. It didn't feel very crowded but there were plenty of people snorkeling and swimming. The reef was beautiful and the water was very clear. There were so many fish at some points it felt...More

Great parking, restrooms and picnic spots! Grills available for use and a pavilion area to celebrate with friends and family if you wish. There's a grassy portion where people like to enjoy the sunset. I typically park and then walk towards Pu'u Keka'a for the...More

Amazing beach that has virtually everything to offer. You can walk it end to end from the Sheraton at Black Rock on the South end to just past Duke's and Honua Kai on the North end. There are always two other islands in view, Lanai...More

There's no issue. Turn towards the beach on Kai Ala Drive, and the park is at the end of the road. There are 2 resort entrances off the side which may be what Google is referring to.

Yes, I'm fairly certain SUPs can be rented from the activity hut in front of the Maui Kaanapali Villas just south of the park.
