A two-mile walk along Maui's northwest coast, the trail begins and ends on a beach. In between, you'll see spactacular oceanfront and bountiful greenery on the dramatic coastline.

Nice view of the coast. It was heavily trafficked on part of the trail and poorly marked. The nesting birds and the beauty made up for the trail.

It's a little hard to find. The GPS tries to take you into a private gate. But once you find it, it's more than worth it. Nice trail that is not too difficult, although there are some unpaved portions that are a little steep. I'm...More

The Kapalua Coastal Trail is one of the most beautiful walks I've ever been on. The ocean is beautiful and the trail is wonderful.

This is a fun little stroll along the coast just behind a very nice resort! Really great place to see the sunset, enjoy cliff jumping, and learning about the Wedge tailed Shearwater, or “Ua’u kani,” a protected seabird.

Just a great hike that is very accessible. This was our teenage kid's favorite hike of our stay. The views are breathtaking. It is much longer than we expected--make sure to bring plenty of water.

Very short easy hike. However, start of trail difficult to find. It was an excellent way to get excercise without too much of a drive from Lahaina resort area.

My wife and I stayed at the Montage, Kapalua bay and went jogging most mornings along the Kapalua Coastal Trail. Really beautiful. You pass several sandy beaches with very few visitors. Stunning landscape with the sandy beaches, the lava hills and the blue ocean.

No , trail is not stroller accessible. Your baby would need to be carried in a sling. Part of the trail requires some climbing , nothing crazy but some climbing.

Sneakers should be fine. The first part of the trail is suitable for all ages. There are some moderate hills if you venture out a little further.
