We went over to Lanai for the day on the ferry. It was prompt, comfortable and clean. The staff was courteous. We lucked out and had a beautiful day with calm waters. Saw several whales from a distance and a pod of spinner dolphins.

If you are looking for the closest beach it is a 5 min walk. Very very close to where you are dropped of.

yep, plenty of room on the boat, beach near arrival harbor nice, shuttle van up to town roomy and inexpensive and plenty to do there.
