We stopped here by chance, and were pleasantly surprised! Its a beautiful gold sand beach, huge waves, strong winds, and surfers to be seen. But our highlight was seeing the many turtles swimming near the shore and some actually sun bathing right on the beach!...More

Beautiful beach, breathtaking surfers and kite surfers, usually a good truck handy. Portable toilets. A beautiful place to hang out and watch for the big one. Hang 10, brah.

Not a terrific place for bathing, unless you plan to surf, the turtle watching is fantastic. The day we visited there were over 50 on the shore, resting.

This is a good spot to watch suffers. If you can not get in to the lower lot there is usually a spot up above.

Delayed answer. The surfing app question has been answered quite well. Surfers are there whenever the wind is blowing, which is all of the time. This is one of the VERY best wind surfing beaches in the world. The greatest... More

During low tide when they come in to rest. When high tide comes in they swim out.
