Huge gorgeous beach!!

Baldwin beach was for sure one of my favorite beaches on Maui! Big and amazing! And as a bonus, they have bathrooms, not outhouses : )

The surf here is dramatic and the sand is fine. Compared to Kihei or Wailea it is very rustic and I think it's a nicer and more authentic beach. Warning, there is a strong undertow. If you walk down the beach, there is a protected area behind a reef. In fact the water flow between the reef and the beach... More

If you are looking for a laid back beach on the north shore of Maui, Baldwin Beach is it. The wind is worth it as the waves and the sand and the vibe is perfect for a relaxing day.

I can't swim here but I sure like looking at the waves crash in. A lot of locals walking their dogs and its not very busy. Seems kinda low key, non tourist type of beach The scenery is beautiful, they have life guards here and I can see why. You'ld have to be a pretty good swimmer

The waves were a little rough the day we were here, but our family enjoyed the beach. My parents were grateful for some natural shade, provided by the palm trees. Just the right mixture of shade, surf and sun!

Surprise surprise another perfect beach in Maui. This beach is amazing to walk and cool because there are a lot of locals.

Pretty beach with trees, sandy sand and big waves. Fun to watch surfers and body boarders. Not for novice swimmers, but beautiful to take a picnic lunch and take in the views. Easy access, bathrooms.

We love coming to this beach! The waves are big and fun to play in if you know what you are doing. Also lots of beach to walk, lifeguard on duty and the amazing views. Bring your chairs, sand toys and sunscreen and hang for a bit!

We were on the Road to Hana, and stopped to see this scenic overlook. It has a big parking lot, which was near-full, and the water was busy with surfers. I'm glad we stopped here to see the waves, because most of the rest of the way the road twists and turns through the woods with no ocean views.
