I was so impressed, our whole family was. For several reasons. Their on-line service was easy and competent. They texted to remind me of my reservation for my tour. The front desk recieved us in the true Aloha manner. They had provided the public via on-line..special tour incentives, which I thought was brilliant. It was greatly appreciated, and we took... Maui Ocean Center is by far the best aquarium in Hawaiʻi! Honolulu aquarium can't even top it. The facility, although one wouldnt expect, is rather large considering the amount of acres the aquarium is on. Situated in a prime location overlooking Maʻalaea Harbor, Maui Ocean Center boasts a 750,000 gallon open exhibit tank with a stunning 240 degree acrylic tunnel.... More

Not only attractive and inviting for the casual person looking for something to do, but Maui Ocean Centet offers incredible displays, marine life and informational guides that transport you into a world all its own! Overall we enjoyed this center. It was a little expensive considering its size. We still enjoyed it - one of our favorites was a small outdoor pool. There was one fish that skimmed with its mouth open across the top of the water - my daughter jumped when she first saw it as it looked like it was going to... More

A really well done ocean centre: worth the admission price. Adult and children friendly with outstanding exhibits and live presentations hosted by very knowledgeable individuals who love what they do. The gift shop is very comprehensive and fun to walk through. Thank you

The dolphin encounter was a lot of fun. But given the entry cost the sea turtles, sea lion show, and hands on pools were all closed for maintenance. A little disappointing as it felt like half the place was unavailable and other than seeing the dolphins, which we already saw on the encounter, and watching the sea lions and sharks... More

This place is pricey for what it is. I read reviews that it is rated in the top 25 in the US, but it's quite small for what it offers. We usually hit the aquariums when we travel and thought Maui would blow us away, but other than seeing some cute baby turtles and sharks, it's pretty standard. That said,... More

Maui Ocean Center gets you up close and personal to the fish that populate the Hawaiian Islands and some of the bigger more active attractions. The huge walled aquarium in breath-taking -especially during feeding time. Walking through the cylinder as the Manta Rays and Sharks swim overhead is worth the price of admission.

Had the best time ever! Loved the jelly fish and the tunnel. Was able to get great pictures. The artist in the gift shop was so good and very humorous and friendly.
