My partner and I wanted to visit Molokai from Maui for the weekend but couldn't find a car rental anywhere. I contacted Molokai Outdoors and they were able to hook us up with one! They also arranged our tour to Kalaupapa - the reason for our trip and an unforgettable experience. They made our trip planning so much easier!

Ok so i would start by saying you should do this tour. Even though I have only given it 3. It is what the island is most known for. The story itself (read the book by OA Bush Nell) is compelling and evocative. The hike and scenery themselves is worth it. However the tour felt like a dramatisation of a... More

Since the winds were oddly opposite for the day, we took the tour backwards which was just fine. We saw numerous turtles - big & small, a whale jumping, and even a shark. The tour was done at a comfortable pace and the morning trip was serene and beautiful. We stopped to see the mangroves and Clare gave us a... More

Molokai is a very special place, and Molokai Outdoors Island Tour was the perfect way to be introduced to the magical Island! It turned out we were the only ones on our tour & Rudy was an incredible host! He picked us up at the Airport at 7:30a and took us to Kanemitsu Bakery for a quick breakfast! Since it... More

The hike from the "mule gate" down to Kalaupapa, the tour with Damien Tours, and the hike back up are a great experience. Depending upon one's physical fitness and hiking experience, it is best to start the hike about 7:45-8:00. As others have reported, the fence across the road and just north of the mule barn, gives no hint that... More

My wife and I had an enlightening tour and history of the work of Father Damien and others as they risked the unknown to care for those afflicted with leprosy in 1873. Clare was excellent, sharing the history and her passion for the subject matter. My only suggestion is that they have a microphone when their guides are speaking.

Our first ever ocean kayak tour!! It was great! We saw turtles, manta rays, fish and whales!!! Clare was exceptionally accommodating, as it took three attempts to get the best trip for us. She was attentive to the groups needs and kept our safety her priority. I look forward to our next trip.

I have booked the Father's Damien Tour through Molokai Outdoors and it was absolutely amazing. Probably my best experience on Molokai. Clare was our tour guide. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about the place. It was a full 4-hour tour. There is a lot to see, I guarantee you won't get bored ! We went to both Kalaupapa and... More

This was a great tour. Clare was our guide and she was very knowledgeable informative about the area. We kayaked around the shore and she told us about trying to control the mangrove trees then we headed out and paddled down the reef. My only complaint is that we paid extra for a lunch and, because we started the trip... More
