In the summer, this beach is good for swimming and they use this beach as the starting point for the SUP race to Oahu. The winter brings good surf, but you better be experienced here...not for the beginner.

It's a great beach, through I'm not sure how safe is to swim there. I was some local surfers on its right side. Restrooms available behind the pool area.

The beaches on this Island are BEAUTIFUL. Easy to get to and you can be all by yourself on the beach or with your partner!!

Apparently, in the summer, there is swimming, and walking on the beach. We may have stayed during a time of poor weather, some days even the local surfers didn’t surf.

The wave action at this beach is not for tourists. It is often rough and even a local surfer can get into trouble. That being said, it is beautiful. When the waves are up you can sit here and enjoy the action. Be careful.....don't sit...More
