We stopped here to just enjoy sitting in the beach after watching the surfers on the pipeline. It was a nice beach and great people watching. Parking was a bit tight at midday but were still able to find a place in the lot (not so when we left about 1ish). The surf was pretty calm when we arrived for... More

This beach is perfect; has a great view, the parking lot is just the right size for the beach not to get too crowded, life guard on duty full time, and the water and waves are to be desired. Great for families, some surfing, and crystal clear. Don't miss this or any of the north-shore on your next trip to... More

The best thing there is that is not full of people like Waikiki, so you can have a nice spot to enjoy the beach, the view and the sunset.. Was amazing!!! The cliff or high rock to jump is so cool, drones and just happy people around, kids, dogs, couples and families.. After the falls we enjoy a very nice... More

Oh yeah, this is my favorite beach in the world and Waikiki is second. My other post I said Waikiki was number one. Down side of this beach is that it rains more often than Waikiki. Also, In winter the waves are likely way to big to swim. It's so beautiful here, however. And summer time it's the best place... More

The entire North Shore of Oahu is a site for sore eyes. If you love beaches, open oceans and big waves you need to check it out.

Visited briefly in December 2014 on the way back from Pipemasters at Sunset Beach. The waves were so big, the police were on the beach patrolling to make certain no one went in or too close to the water. There were also signs stating so as well. Waves crashed powerfully against the rocks as the tides came ashore. In spring... More

this beach was just a short walk from the backpackers we stayed at. the sea was warm, golden sands, blue waters. Some days had big waves enjoyed by lots of surfers. traffic can be congested with people heading to beaches along the north shore.

The Northshore area is the total opposite of the Honolulu side of Oahu , no skyscrapers , no tourist menus - very nice and if the swell is right in the winter months just unbelievalble for wavewatching..

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We were there late December 2016 and the waves were perfect for going out and playing in them. The waves crashed pretty close to shore so you didn't have to go out far to get pounded by them. We had a blast just jumping into them and riding them. It was... More
