Beautiful walk up to the waterfall & pool. Everyone down to my 7-year-old swam in the pool and under the waterfall. Life jackets are required but free.

Every time we visit Oahu, we always make a trip to the lovely Waimea Valley. It is absolutely gorgeous! This time, we paid to take the shuttle to the waterfall because it was raining, but we walked on the way back after the rain stopped....More

Enjoyed this a lot more than we expected to. Quite a hike, but go at your own pace. Very inexpensive thing to do and worth it.

This is a must see on the island. So many plants, fruits and beauty of Hawaii to take in. You may walk at your own pace and take your time. The waterfall area can be crowded at times so be prepared for that. This is...More

We paid extra to take the shuttle up to the falls but it wasn’t needed, the path is very clear and not too steep, there are plenty resting areas on the way up. I believe it’s one mile each way. The waterfall is pretty but...More

The gardens were well maintained with good information however the falls themselves were disappointing considering the ticket price.

An easy walk to the falls where you can swim. Whole park is kept spotless and plant life is incredible! Take a few minutes to learn the rich history of the valley

You must buy tickets. Yes, that should be ample time. You can swim in the lagoon under the falls, too, though life jackets are required (and provided).
