We saw people who either moved here or are island natives walking dogs and doing their morning running, bahhhh nothing to do we left not recommended.

Great walk for you and your family and dog. Yes, I'm careful to keep my 4-legged girl on a short leash so as not to disturb or freak out the bird life. Not a problem. Love this walk.

I usually ride my bicycle along the levee. It's a nice ride through the state's largest wetland. Always interesting.
