Water was soooooo warm!!! The day we went the water wasnt very clear but the view of your surroundings is great!!! It was exactly what all the pictures I've seen looked like. Lived up to the expectation forsure. My daughter loved it because of the warmth of the water.

This is a great beach with very calm (most days) water. Easy to swim in. No toilet facilities and on holiday weekends no parking in Lanikai. A lot of tourists with some locals. Friendly and fun. When the wind is high it can be a bit chilly in winter especially after getting out of the water.

One of the best beach I've visited so far. It has the softest white sand and clear blue water. The only negative is a little too windy for my liking. Not as crowded as Waikiki beach. Parking is in the residential area so come early to get a spot.

I probably shouldn't advertise this beach because it already gets a lot of visitors and it's a small beach, but it sure is nice and it's tranquility at its finest! It's in a residential neighborhood so its access is not the easiest. Clear blue waters with coral, good snorkeling. It can be very windy, but that applies to much of... More

My wife's 1 must do on Oahu was to come to Lanikai, and it was gorgeous. Seemed like we were only a few of a handful of people out on the beach. It was beautifully blue, some of the best water quality I've seen in my travels, and the beach itself is perfect for walking or spending a day with... More

This was probably our favorite beach in Oahu outside of the North Shore. A friend of ours mentioned how much they loved this beach, so we took a day trip down from our North Shore hotel, and we didn't regret it! We did the Lanikai Pillbox Trail first (which I highly recommend!) and then walked down the beach. There were... More

You have to go here - it's a pretty beach and also, very good for swimming. If you want to surf or middle board, go to Kailua beach.

The view out to the Sisters Islands is spectacular. Swim just a few feet offshore (bring your snorkeling gear!), and you'll feel like you're in an aquarium. Corals and aquatic life (fish, turtles, anemones, etc.) abound! Rent a paddleboard or kayak, and head out to the Sisters (you can only stop at one; the other is a bird refuge). Adventurous... More

This beach is one of the best we've ever been to, actually it may be the best beach we've ever been to. The problem is it's not a "secret" place anymore and parking can be a nightmare sometimes. It can get very packed on the weekends so if you can get there in the morning during the weekdays it's not... More
