One of our stops on a cruise ship shore excursion, this park had remnants of bunkers, artillery and other items from WWII. Our guide had a mother who lived on Guam during this time and it added extra color to the commentary. There are signs at various stops along the walkways to explain the history

The National Park service did an excellent job building and displaying the July 1944 invasion of Guam. An excellent Guam map display and an informative 10 minute film highlight the displays chronicling the battle. Well worth 30-45 minute visit.

This is an excellent presentation of the island campaigns in the Pacific. You come away with a enhanced appreciation of the bravery of the Marines in landing against entrenched Japanese.

Starting with the Chamoro People to Magellan to World War two there is a lot of world history here. The museum is very interactive and has a great book store.

We took a taxi to see this place. The taxi driver took us to a place at the beach displaying a torpedo and a big open field. We did not see any building or submarine etc. Make sure you are better prepared than we were cuz what we saw was not worth the taxi cost.

Admission is free. They had some great posters and media displays. They were very informative and helped explain the history of WWII. It was kid friendly and the rangers there were very helpful in finding whatever you needed. If you want to get your passport book stamped you need to ask at the main desk. Their gift shop was small... More

I've been a bit obsessed with WW2 history as of late, which is part of why Guam has been on my trip list. That said, the rest of my family enjoyed this park as well (husband and kids 7, 9, and 11). This park is scattered all over the island. Start at the visitor center (outside navy base gates). It... More

This is a beautiful park situated right by the ocean. My husband and I learned a lot from just walking around and reading the signs.

Site for the invasion of Guam. Pictures of what the beach looked like after the battle are posted at different locations thru the park with information besides them. Hike the trail to see machine gun boxes overlooking the beach.

This is a very nice WWII exhibit. There is a short film as well as displays and dioramas showing the 1944 battle to re-take Guam from the Japanese.
