Informative experience regarding the area formation and the cultural history of the area along with examples of the local marine wildlife. Not a lot of the show presentation but a lot of informative displays of the local area.

On a NP tour our guide, who also works at the center, arranged a guided tour. You'll find a large room of informative displays with a smart globe in the center. Plan an 1 1/2 to two hours to see a few videos and check out all the displays. The center is a good place to learn about the ocean... More

Although aimed at local children's education it is very well presented and extremely informative even if you thought you might know a thing or two about the seas. The guy working there has provided us with great answer to anything we had to ask about Pago Pago or the islands. He's recommended Louisa Grocery store as a great place to... More

When we were there, there was some kind of conference going on, so we probably missed some displays. Also, they hold special events there occasionally, so ask. What we did see was a nice little display room with very interesting info about the marine life nearby. The man at the info booth was very friendly and helpful. This is a... More

The facility is well maintained, the staff is helpful, and the location is perfect with only a few minutes walk to the Fagatogo market and to the BOH and KVZK TV.

While the center provides an excellent presentation and some information on the ailing marine life in the Pacific Ocean and elsewhere, you can get this information elsewhere like online. If the center was actually a part of a bigger museum or attraction, then this would make better sense.

This center is a nice quick stop that will prepare you for understanding American Samoa. The main lobby is a circular theater with videos projected onto a spinning globe. I loved the shows and also enjoyed the smaller display rooms. The staff there is very helpful and informative. As they tell you, instead of spending a lot of money creating... More

Entrance is free. Movie is on a view from 360` Screen. For a cruise ship itinerary stop, a waste of 20 minutes. Expectation was to see local fish and corals. If it is there, we were not allowed to see it. Just saw some pictures on wall.

Was lucky enough to be part of the opening. Very nice and state of the art equipment inside. Very informative not only for individuals but also perfect for school or group trips. Have visited frequently after the opening and the upkeep is very good. Staff very professional and know their staff. Malo lava Gene and staff..
