The staff and drivers are friendly and informative. Most are 2nd and 3rd generation MDI residents. The stops are beautiful and you are given enough time to see each sight unlike the other bus tour in town. I was very happy and pleased with the kindness and service knowledge these employees showed. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming... More

Funky old school bus to ride in but a wonderful guide. Long time resident of Bar Harbor and knows his stuff. Easy to hear and understand and able to convey the information clearly. I highly recommend them.

On our first day in Bar Harbor, we decided to go on the National Park Tour to get a lay of the land and some history behind Acadia.  We were greeted by our enthusiastic tour bus driver/guide Heather.  She was an excellent tour guide and had a lot of knowledge of the area.  With stops on Cadillac Mountain and Thunder... Acadia National Park Tours' headquarters is located inside Testa's Restaurant, a short uphill walk from where our tender ships dropped us off from our cruise ship. After we met our tour guide, Rob, and the school bus across the street from the restaurant at the appointed time, our tour proceeded on the park's most scenic road, the Park Loop Road.... More

It was leaf season when we were there and there seemed to be a lot of traffic. I was so glad to let someone else drive. Our guide was interesting. He was local, proud of being a native and imparted many interesting facts. It was well worth the price.

Even though we had a drizzling rain, the tour by Heather of Acadia National Park was great. The fall colors actually came through on the cloudy day and Heather knew the best scenic stops for picture taking. She also knew the history, stories, and some of the key residents of the area that made the trip very enlightening. The tour... More

This tour was offered by the Anthem of the Seas cruise to New England / Canada. Very well planned and informative. Our guide was a retired teacher and very well versed in the areas history. The tour started at the Bar Harbor port and was very well organized.

This was a wonderful way to see Acadia National Park! The scenic drive through the park with the beginning of fall colors was simply breathtaking! Tourists can appreciate the beauty of the state of Maine and America the beautiful on this relaxing drive. The guide was full of knowledge and provided plenty of time for photo opportunities along the way.... More

Aside from the fact that the bus is not a luxury tour bus, but instead, a basic, comfortable vehicle with large windows for enjoying the vista, this tour provided us with everything the other passengers on our ship had seen for half the price. The guide was excellent, providing top notch narration. For cruise passengers, the walk from the pier... More
