I love the hustle and bustle of this place. I've only gone on Saturdays when the farmer's market is happening, and boy is it worth it. You get to sample all sorts of different types of fruits and see some of the most delicious food stands around. Roti Roti is amazing, but the line is long. Stop inside at Humphry... More

Where else can you walk along the water, eat a variety of great food, wine, coffee, bread, cheese!!! There is something for every taste interest at the Ferry Building. You can walk to AT&T park or catch the trolley to Pier 39 or walk a block or two and take the cable car up California Street! If you decide to... More

Lots of local businesses have shops here. I recommend the wine bar. All the commuters that take the ferry drink here. Lots of great wines to buy to drink at the bar or take outside. Great spot to people watch if you get a table on the rail.

This building houses some of the best shops in SF to buys gourmet food or ingredients from wine, to cheese to olive oil. There are also speciality cuisines inside the building and one of SF's best coffee shops (Peet's) is also housed inside.

It's just like any other indoor market. Lots of food stores and restaurants, with few food related shops. It gets very busy on the weekends, so try to go during the weekdays.

This place had an upscale vibe, lots of specialty shops, and good places to eat. It's also a good place to take pictures of the San Francisco Bay bridge. On Saturday mornings, this place has all kinds of booths outside of the Ferry Building in the front and even more in the back. They sell gourmet cheese, almond brittle, ice... More

A great indoor food market selling quality food. Some eateries and foodie shopping made it a great discovery. Not so touristy. San Francisco at its best.

Loved this area (other than the crowds) Lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from, great views, good food. Farmers Market items and just outside across the street, lots of vendors selling handmade items ranging from artwork to knitted hats and scarves
