This is one of the most beautiful places in San Francisco. The outside scenery is all free to walk through. As will everywhere, parking is limited. I was told that many people choose to have their wedding pictures taken here. It is just like a...More

This was my third visit in the past 30 years. We were there there the second week in June 2017. The park has not changed. It is as beautiful as ever and the swans are still there. We went in the late afternoon at 7:00...More

The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre is so incredible! Absolutely stunning with beautiful architecture and gardens. The water is serene. I can't believe this is free. It's certainly a hidden gem and it's huge. Definitely worth a walk through anytime you're in the area.

Sitting on the edge of the Presidio this is a beautiful classical architectural feature with a lake and a fountain. Spend as much or as little time there but do spend some time.

The architecture and grounds here are amazingly beautiful. You want to take photos at every turn. A trail runs all the way around the pond, and informational signs tell you the history of the building and the park. Many birds are here, and I learned...More

The Palace is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit. The attention to detail in the structures and vegetation is awesome. We loved taking a slow, peaceful stroll around the grounds, pausing to watch the birds and turtles doing their thing. Despite the amount of visitors,...More

I have come here at least 4-5 times now in a span of 2 months. The place has something to it...a serenity...peacefulness and quietness...whether there are people taking wedding/prom pics, or tourists taking shots of the beautiful building or artists playing live music, or you're...More

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
