A truly fantastic piece of engineering and looks great. We parked in crissey park and walked along the shore to the bridge. Good exercise and a pleasant walk especially as we had a clear sunny day. Lots of people walked my dogs on the beach a great way to relax and see a great sight. At the end of the... More

We crossed this bridge on 2 occasions, both as part of a guided tour. The views are great, both from the bridge and the surrounding area, especially on the northern side.

If planning to visit San Francisco, you must stop by the Golden gate Bridge and the nearby park. We took a hop-on bus from the Union Square to the Vista Point at the north end of the bridge. The views are really nice from there are you can take some really good picture with the bridge. Walk back over the... More

Go across to Sausalito, which is a great town to have lunch. The bridge is beautiful as we watch the fog roll in.

You can do it driving, walking or biking but for the photos you need to find a place at a certain distance, with SF behind, so best view is from Golden Gate View Point, especially in the late afternoon. On the northern side of the bridge, you take Conzelman Road and you have two options: the Vista Point first and... More

A beautiful sight as you approach from the top of a double decker bus and look up at it as you drive under it, or just drive up to it to get some nice panoramic pictures.

Breathtaking views from the bridge and from the trails around it. You can walk/jog/bike the entire bridge. You can get there on foot or by bike, bus or car. Interesting historical facts all around.
